Sad Baby

My Best-Friend-From-High-School recently commented on how happy Aaron and Audrey look in the pictures I post. Though I do have sweet, wonderful, happy babies, I also usually just post all the happy pictures. Here’s what life is really like.

On a related note, A&A are even crazier about reading books than they were in the past. They find a book from one of the shelves, and say “Lap! Book!” then they plop down in one of our laps and put the book into our hand. Aaron is loving, and I mean loving the book with the trash truck in it. A couple of weeks ago Grandma came to visit and we played at a playground that was surrounded by a quite road on 3 sides. Two different garbage trucks came by and went all the way around us. Aaron was enthralled. Ever since that day he talks about trash trucks and wants to read the book about trash trucks. Ta Tuh! Ta Tuh! Both kids like books with pictures of real babies. We have one book that has babies showing all kinds of emotions, and their favorite is the “sad baby.” They look at the book cover and flip through trying to find Sad Baby and now if one of them is crying the other will say “Aaron sad!” or “Audrey Sad Baby.”
