Mother & Daughter & Mother & Daughter on Mother's Day (recognize the dress, Lisa?)

Mother's Day was extra special this year because it happened to fall while my mom was visiting from Arkansas. Nathan was planning a bike trip across Illinois with his dad and our brother-in-law, and my mom was itching to see the babies so her visit was timed perfectly. Mom was a huge help and got to see Audrey transform from an occasional step taker to full blown walker. Audrey also got really good at saying words like Nana and Poppy. Aaron wowed us with his "what does a cow say" trick and showed off his sweet sweet smile all week. Not only that, but they both got their first haircuts. Audrey's bangs were getting pretty long and even Aaron needed a trim in the very back.

Unfortunately, Nathan's bike trip was cancelled, but I have a picture of a short trial run.

For Mother's Day and Father's Day we've decided our policy is that you get to decide how you want to celebrate. I chose to have a family weekend away. Since Nathan's bike trip was cancelled, and St Louis is part of the way back to Arkansas for mom, we decided to make a family fun weekend out of it. I'll let Aaron and Audrey tell about that.
