My First Fad
posted by aaron

Hi, it's Aaron. There's a fad going around where you say all sorts of things about yourself for your friends to read. Mom let me post on her facebook, so I thought I'd post it on our family blog, too. Here are even a few pictures to prove some of my points...

1. I love to be outside. Crossing the threshold from indoors to out immediately brightens my mood.

2. I have a fascination with vents. I want to touch them and look at them and I especially want to rake my fingers across them to make noise.

3. I love to swing things open and closed- big doors, little doors, gates, you name it.

4. My newest hobby is climbing up the entire staircase. My mom lets me do it because it’s too cold to go play outside and we all needed something fun and new to do.

5. I have a twin sister.

6. I was born 4 weeks early and came home from the hospital on Leap Day 2008.

7. My parents didn’t name me for the first 48 hours because they were trying to decide if I was an Asher or an Aaron.

8. I have the same middle name (Lewis) as my Dad and Grandpa.

9. I am a good eater, even though I’m in the 2nd percentile for weight.

10. I am a great sleeper- I sleep 11 hours every night.

11. I have really really cute smiles and really distorted ghastly mad faces.

12. I love to laugh, especially when playing peekaboo and when I’m crawling around with my sister.

13. I look really good in red overalls.

14. I’ve only worn shoes a handful of times in my life.

15. I love to try to escape into a bathroom and play in the big white bowl of water there.

16. I prefer to be with my Mom and Dad. When they make me stay somewhere without them it makes me sad.

17. I can drink the entire contents of a sippy cup in practically one gulp.

18. I do an awesome Mariah Carey impression.

19. I have been in 4 states.

20. I love banging on the piano and strumming the guitar.

21. I might have been on a Japanese home video TV show.

22. I have 2 teeth.

23. Most of the time my tongue is hanging out of my mouth, even when I smile.

24. I have unusually big hands and feet compared to the rest of my body. Maybe I’ll be tall someday, but my Dad had big feet all through his childhood and he’s medium height.

25. I’m really good at getting through the roadblocks my parents set up to keep me contained in one room.
