As you can maybe tell, I'm on a posting-videos-on-the-blog kick. We had taped a bunch of video over the last few months, and I had just never gotten around to editing it at all, and posting it. But the past couple days, I finally managed to get myself in gear and do something with it all.
So here you go, a short medley of clips showing what things are like around here a lot of the time:

Look what we found in the bunch of bananas that we recently bought: a double banana! I've never seen anything like it before, but I'm quite excited. I can't decide whether we should eat it now, save it as long as possible and show it off to everyone, or, as Sara jokingly suggested, try to sell it on Ebay. In reality, we'll probably just feed it to the kids sometime when they get hungry.
For those of you out there that wish YOU had a double-banana in your bunch: we bought it at Sam's in a big bagged bunch, so you couldn't see the whole bunch before buying. So you'll just have to buy lots of Sam's club bananas if you want your own double-banana.
(Now I'm thinking I should've waited to post this until AFTER we opened it so we could also take a picture of the INSIDE. Ah well, I don't have nearly that much patience. I was so excited about the double banana that I had to post it on our blog right away. Maybe when we eat it, I'll take another picture and have a follow-up post)

Audrey was happily eating some cheerios for breakfast this morning, when she lost one! Where did it go? Take a look and see...

We got these reindeer antlers at our church white elephant gift exchange. What we didn't realize was how funny Aaron would find them to be:

At this year's NSCA Christmas party, awards chosen by peers were given out to employees. Nathan's group was selected for best team! Since he started working with this group, he has commented about how well they work together and how much he enjoys the overall work environment. We were proud to get to see him acknowledged, and Aaron helped him accept the award. Then we paused for a family photo in the foyer, and for a shot of Nathan with one of the members of his team, Jong.
Aaron: People have been telling us how much they like it when we take over the computer and say whatever we want, so we're at it again! Here are some pictures of things we've been up to. First off, we went to see the Nice Old Velvety Man at the mall. Mom tried to distract me by showing me his white fuzzy sleeves. Doesn't she know I don't like strangers?
Audrey: I didn't mind Nice Old Velvety Man so much. We got to wear the outfits Aunt Margo sent us, and there were other kids to look at waiting in line. Plus, we got to see our friend Abby. She has awesome hair! Hair is one of my favorite things lately. I like to play with mine. And Mommy's. And Aaron's.
Aaron: I think belly buttons are way more fun than hair. I also like vents and opening and shutting doors. There are so many fun places to explore now that I can crawl around! Don't you love crawling around together?
Audrey: I do love crawling around and standing up, but what I really love is blowing raspberries. That is what I call a good time. Hey, we had fun playing on that rocking horse that Ms Mary gave us from her childhood. The only downside is that Mommy wouldn't let us eat the horse.
Aaron: But there are so many other good foods to eat! I like to great them all with a wide open mouth. I think my favorites are crackers, cheerios, yogurt with any kind of fruit, sweet potatoes, applesauce, squash, and even peas and carrots.
Audrey: Those are all pretty good, but you forgot shoes and magazines. They're good to eat, too.
Aaron: Well, I guess we described our pictures well enough for now. We'll check in later to let you know how we're doing. Merry Christmas Everyone!
